Description

- Pets welcome! We can host a couple plus 1-2 older children or teens, or two or three adults in our house. We have a 190x200 bed, a smaller futon, and a small couch that doesn't pull out. There is a separate full bathroom for you. The house is air conditioned.
- We speak English and are learning French but are not fluent yet. Please speak at least some English.
- Caveat: we only have two spare bath towels, two pillows, and we don't have extra sheets yet. However, the bed and futon each have a mattress protector, and we do have a few blankets, so we hope that will suffice in this emergency.
- The house is not very accessible for disabled people, but we could give you our ground floor master bedroom and full bathroom if you need it. In that instance, it would be helpful if you had a companion with you, especially if you're in a wheelchair, because the kitchen is on the first floor, and there is a curb and narrow sidewalk and a threshold to get over at the house entrance.
- We don't have a car so we can't pick you up, but we do have space in an enclosed garage on our street if you have a car.
- We live in Bordeaux, so there is no guarantee we won't be evacuated in the night, but you're welcome here for the time being anyway. Please bring water, or empty bottles to fill, so you have some water in case we are evacuated. Non-perishable foods would also be a useful backup plan.
